Greetings! Welcome to our website.
I will start our story in true Walt Disney fashion (I'm such of fan of his)....Once Upon a Time in a land not to far away lovingly known as Happy Hour Land. We were hanging out in one of our favorite Bar & Grill one late afternoon, the sun was starting to set all the beautiful hues lit up the sky in typical San Diego fashion as we were enjoying our favorite mixed beverage, Mark said, "Baby, lets make beautiful music together". I think I caught him by surprise with my response as he gazed at me with his romantic smile and I said, "Yes, let's do something creative," his grin widened, "Let's do Karaoke with a mixture of solo vocals?". Mark, "Ah...okay" his widened smile turned into puzzled expression. As a true professional, lets make an outline of our business plan...so I took a napkin and began doodling my thoughts. He was captivated, enthralled, excited as we started brainstorming. Fired up with liquid spirits, he said, "Okay, I'm in" what should we call ourselves? Amongst our close friends we have a saying, "Excuse Me!" with a confident Latin attitude flare (pronounced essscuzeme! followed with a snap of the fingers).
Our creative outlet is just that creative...Excuse Me! Karaoke library consists of over 25,000 songs and growing, if you need DJ Marky Mark the number jumps to over 40,000 songs of all genre's. We mix up the fun by getting to know the performers, infuse the atmosphere with friendly competition of karaoke contests that sometimes result in prizes. Group dancing comes into play and definitely group singing (for those shy on lookers). With permission, we take pictures and video and spotlight them on our website and Facebook page. We have also started dabbling into theme nights which the crowd enjoys and we are always opened to ideas. What we are not is people who stand behind the console and wait to see what happens...our goal is to constantly mix it up, be involved and encourage patrons. We truly are grateful to our participants...hey it takes courage to step out of the comfort zone...WE Love It.
